Please join us at our upcoming monthly RBA meeting. It will be an opportunity for members to share knowledge, collaborate on beekeeping strategies, network, and learn from each other. Our focus will be members working in small groups with a mix of skills and knowledge. The discussions will centre on current seasonal issues for beekeepers such as swarm management, mite monitoring and treatment, brood management and more.

Join us in person (only) as we're finally able to reconvene at the Kinsmen Pavilion at the Richmond Nature Park.  Reconnect with your fellow keepers in person, talk about the season that is almost behind us and your winter preparation.   Hopefully people will have extracted some honey by September as we are also looking at a honey blind taste test during the meeting. Our speaker is Jane Lakes; she is a professional beekeeper and native bee enthusiast. She has worked in the field of urban beekeeping since 2019 and has recently expanded her interests into the wild world of native bees. The event will be an interactive evening of problem solving in small groups with hot topics which we encounter in every day beekeeping. There will be prizes for participation and prizes for ingenious sleuthing. There’ll be lots of time to chat during and in between activities.

Join us for an in person meeting (only) to discuss all things oxalic vapourizing.  We will have several different models on hand to explore and ask questions.  Due to nature of oxalic vaping, we won't actually be firing them up, but this is the closest you'll get to getting hands on with a a few different models.  We'll also discuss, as a club, the possible purchase and management of vapourizers for members to use.
