She's still working on the final topic but Abbi's, a PhD candidate in the Department of Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in UBCs Faculty of Medicine. Her project is focused on identifying the physiological impacts of infection on honey bee queens and investigating the trade-off between reproduction and immunity.
